The EDI series steam boilers are electrically operated and provide steam outputs ranging from 20 kW to 960 kW. As a multiple system, a multiple of the steam output is possible – including in hybrid operation with oil or gas-powered steam boilers. Upon customer request, the EDI is also available in stainless steel. Both purchase and rental options are available.

Depending on the water level in the evaporation system, feed water is automatically replenished into the pressure vessel using the integrated boiler pump.

Specially designed, longer heating elements with a larger diameter ensure a low surface load. This leads to:

• Efficient energy conversion, resulting in lower maintenance costs

Wear-free control of the heating elements: Thyristors switch without voltage during phase changes, unlike contactors, which switch under load and wear out. With the use of thyristors, the power grid is protected by avoiding current peaks during switching.

All parts in contact with the medium are optionally available in high-quality stainless steel.
