GI PROFESSIONAL IRONERS: THE VALUE OF SPACE

Designed around the roller and the basin, the new GI (Grandimpianti Ironers) ironers, with their innovative MCTS (Multipoint Contact Thrust System) and PLS (Pull-wire Lifting System), offer improved ironing results, increased productivity and optimized work space.

The new Multipoint Contact Thrust System (MCTS), by increasing the number of thrust points along the entire length of the ironing basin (with variations in the number depending on the size of the plate) ensures excellent ironing performance in every part of the machine. The presence, then, of a control that adjusts the thrust intensity allows the operator great ironing flexibility.

The ability to adjust temperature, roller rotation speed, and plate thrust ensures,
not only excellent ironing quality, but also great versatility of use, reliability of performance over time, and uniformity in the life of the entire machine.

TEMPERATURE UNDER CONTROL

The heating elements are placed inside the ironing plate (heat is generated from the center) and arranged asymmetrically: 66% of the heat is concentrated in the initial part, where the plate undergoes the greatest thermal shock (the laundry is cold and wet), and the remaining 33% at the exit of the laundry. This ensures temperature uniformity over the entire surface ensuring outstanding performance.

ERGONOMICS & PRACTICALITY

Every detail of the new GI ironers is designed to provide the most comfortable working position for the operator. Such as the innovative Adjustable Infeed Plate (AIP), the wooden linen introduction board, which can be adjusted to various angles, preventing overheating and any electrostatic charge as well as ensuring maximum comfort.

SECURITY

Excellent performance requires maximum reliability and safety, which is why we have developed the new Automatic Thermal Protection System (ATPS) that can automatically move the ironing basin away from the garments in the event of a breakdown or power failure. GI ironers, moreover, are equipped with a finger-guard band cooling system, Finger-guard Cooling System (FCS), and 2 temperature sensors that, in case of overheating detected by the electronic board, takes action by turning off the heating system. A dual heating activation system, then, with two contactors, ensures that in case of failure the machine is always safe.

Since the linen inside the tumble dryer endures a radical transformation, rapidly passing from very heavy and damp to lightweight and voluminous, it's crucial being able to rely on a dynamic, professional and qualified system such as our drying diagram which ensures:

The installation of the tumble dryer drum inside a tank insulated with 25mm of ceramic fibre, the presence of a exclusive air preheating path that simultaneously cools the engine, the use of 92% recyclable materials (e.g. skinplate) and the adoption of a drying diagram instead of the classic countdown, allow us to:

The GD professional dryers are available in 6 sizes, from 275dm3 up to 10000dm3 with gas, electric or steam heating, in order to meet the different need of the market with the highest versatility. Three different heating systems that, alongside excellent drying performance, ensure low environmental impact and reduced energy consumption.

In 2008 we replaced, first in the market, the classic countdown timer with a drying diagram which, thanks to two temperature probes, regulates temperature, drum rotation speed (with the optional inverter) and cycle duration according to changes in the weight of the laundry and the moisture level of the fabrics.

GWH WASHING MACHINES: SMART, VERSATILE AND PRECISE

These are professional washing machines with high spin speed (up to 400G) which ensure a fast and effective washing as well as reduced percentage of residual moisture on the clothes and, therefore, high time savings in the following drying and ironing phases. Equipped with a stainless steel drum with a special semi-sphere structure, that avoids damages caused by friction, these machines can wash an overalls as much as a wedding dress.

INTELLIGENCE AT FULL SPEED

Nine models are available (from 75 to 600 dm3 basket volume) each characterised by great functionality, design, ergonomics and innovative technology to ensure high energy savings, flexibility, minimum wear and tear and great performance.

In their maximum configuration, these high-speed industrial washing machines can process up to 420 kg of laundry per day (7 cycles in 8 hours). The structure is particularly robust and suitable for intensive work, the engine, positioned at the bottom, keeps the centre of gravity close to the floor reducing vibrations and noise. The inverter technology allows gradual starts and slowdowns while preserving the linen and all the mechanical parts.
