The professional rental service for linen and workwear is a textbook example of a circular, sustainable business model, which uses hard-wearing textiles instead of lower-quality or disposable products (reduce), optimises their useful life through professional care / repairs (reuse) and develops solutions to re-purpose them after they have reached the end of their useful life (recycle).

On track to save energy

Soaring energy costs are a driving factor for innovations in the commercial textile-care sector. They generate new solutions that lower consumption, reduce emissions and in many cases extend textile durability. North Africa's flourishing textile care market in focus: This was the Texcare Forum Casablanca 2024

The leading trade fair for laundry, dry-cleaning and textile-services is reorganising itself anew. In future, Texcare International in Frankfurt am Main will be held in autumn and will already run on four days from Wednesday to Saturday from 2024. Next year's new date is 6 to 9 November 2024.

Leading suppliers of textile-care technology cancel their participation – Texcare International will not take place in 2021

Leading suppliers of laundry and dry-cleaning technology have used the free cancellation deadline offered by Messe Frankfurt against the background of the pandemic and cancelled their participation in Texcare International 2021 shortly before expiry. In view of this the Advisory Council of the world’s leading textile-care fair have voted to cancel Texcare International for this year because its success can no longer be guaranteed.

The textile services industry, whose business model has always been based on durability and re-use, has an important role to play here as ambassador. Low lint for cleaner results

In the textile-care business the filtering of waste water performs major tasks. In the first place it removes foreign bodies from the liquor which, when re-using water flows, would be deposited on the goods. Since these undesired deposits always contain a larger proportion of lint, the industry is committed to minimising the particle discharge which comes in its own area of responsibility. This is successfully attained by a harmonisation of all components involved in the washing process. Final report: TXCA & CLE 2020 supports industry recovery and highlights market opportunities

Texcare Asia and China Laundry Expo 2020 (TXCA & CLE), the dedicated trade fair for textile laundry, leather care, cleaning technology and equipment gathered a total of 14,413 visitors and 122 exhibitors. Being the only large scale exhibition in the global textile care industry in 2020, the fair successfully closed its doors on 16th October at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Despite the uncertainties that the global textile care industry has faced in 2020, many participants reported an optimistic outlook in the Chinese market, particularly in light of emerging opportunities in fields such as medical laundry and automation. Helping participants to capture these opportunities, the three-day fair presented the latest technologies and products from the textile care industry and offered an effective business development platform.

Texcare International to take place in November 2021

Texcare International will be postponed and will take place in Frankfurt am Main from 27 November to 1 December 2021. Due to the economic situation caused by the Corona pandemic and the travel restrictions which are to be expected, Messe Frankfurt has decided this jointly with the German Textile Cleaning Association and the VDMA Textile Care, Fabric and Leather Technologies.

In an exciting development for China’s textile care market, it’s been announced that the upcoming edition of the new TXCA & CLE show, an international trade fair for textile laundry, leather care, cleaning technology and equipment, will be held from 25 – 27 September 2019 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, China. The news comes on the back of a new joint-venture agreement last year between the Texcare Asia show and the China Laundry Expo, meaning the merged shows now serve as the largest international exhibition for laundry equipment and technology in the rapidly evolving Asian market.
