New: Texcare Forum Casablanca

As a regional conference and networking event, the Texcare Forum Casablanca in Morocco opened a door to the booming region of North West Africa. On 4 June 2024, around 150 representatives of the regional laundry and dry cleaning industry met with international laundry experts and leading suppliers to exchange views on current topics and technologies.

Morocco has a strong tourism industry with high-class hotels and a leading textile industry in the region. As one of the hosts of the 2030 FIFA World Cup, the country is also expecting exceptional growth momentum. Morocco is part of the Maghreb economic region with the states of Tunisia, Algeria and Libya, and maintains close trade relations throughout North and West Africa.

This was the Texcare Forum Casablanca 2024

The conference topics

Do you want to understand how to take action to reduce your environmental impact? Then this conference is for you!

What's the point of carrying out a diagnosis of discharges of hazardous substances into water (RSDE) in your laundry? Why and how can you optimise your processes so that you only use the resources that are strictly necessary and sufficient, while seeking the right quality and favouring the most environmentally-friendly solutions? Are there cleaning methods, less impactful products and alternative technologies?

Our experts will take you through the main principles and tools available to help you make progress, based on practical case studies.

  • Miloud Bouzziri - Christeyns Maroc
  • Aziz Lamrani - Blanchisserie AB Maroc
  • Audrey et Arnaud Bretéché - Cabinet Bretagne Environnement
  • Moderation: Sandra Minette

Mobilise the people in your business, trace collections and deliveries, choose your materials and equipment wisely, invest in quality linen, learn how to manage seasonality... These are just some of the principles our experts will be developing for you!

Our experts will help you to discover the main principles and the tools available to help you make progress, by tackling specific cases.

  • Hélène Ducarre - Optim Expertise
  • Patrik ou Thierry André - Maison de blanc
  • Badre Bouitane - Blanchisserie Ecoblanc

Linen management in a hotel is a competitive advantage, provided it is optimised. And that's where the problem lies. How do you choose your linen? How can you ensure that your linen is always available and of exemplary cleanliness, without allocating an excessive budget to it? How do you train your teams? While there are real advantages to managing your hotel's linen in-house, what about outsourcing the service? Our industry experts will be happy to answer all these questions.

  • Pascale Allaert - Meilleure Ouvrière de France
  • Jérôme Guéné - Laundry & Cleaning Consulting
  • Lydie Barrand - Gouvernante Générale du Royal Mansour Casablanca
  • Modération: Sandra Minette

The textile care sector has been negotiating the digital shift for several years now, to enable its companies to gain in serenity, quality of service and simplify the work of their teams on a daily basis.

At a time when Morocco is actively pursuing its economic development, defining an effective commercial strategy is becoming essential in an environment where the competitive offer is tending to expand. How can new digital and automation technologies enable you to stand out from the crowd, but also to anticipate and respond ever more effectively to customer demand?

At this conference, our speakers will share their knowledge and experience on:

- digitalising their own or their customers' processes launderers,

- interconnected business solutions to equip all the players/operators involved in the process: business software for head office (sales team, HR department, operations, invoicing, purchasing), time and attendance and communication applications for agents, quality control solutions for field managers, etc.

- best practice in managing digital projects and implementing solutions in industrial laundries.
